From Dubai, we were given the assignment to search for a vehicle and convert it according to the client’s wishes. The trust was so great that the customer only visited the workshop halfway through the conversion of the vehicle.
The choice was made for a fine Land Rover Defender. The existing loading bay disappeared and was replaced by a living unit. The unit took into account that up to four people needed to travel in the vehicle.
The end result, as the client described it, was better than they could have ever expected.
With its aluminium cage and lightweight panels, we were able to keep the living unit below 3500 kg in weight. And by also opting for an aluminium sub-frame, this living unit can be driven with only a B driver’s licence.
