A MAN TGS 33.520 6×6 is being converted into an expedition truck with a Twiga camper unit. The customer wanted a shell (casco) camper unit with the external dimensions; length 6370mm by 2500mm wide. The height of the camper unit is always in consultation with the customer and can vary, in this case it is 2386mm, which is also possible with Twiga.
The camper unit is equipped with several windows, hatches, skylights and the entrance door. The camper unit is sprayed in a RAL color of the client’s choice.. A lift for tires, bicycles and motorcycle is still being provided, and this camper unit is also equipped with the well-known Twiga stairs including armrest.
This large camper unit is made with an aluminium cage construction. This keeps the weight low. A steel subframe is used to ensure that no torsion occurs on the living unit.
