Project 93
Completed: 2021
This Mercedes truck was previously a fire engine before being completely remodelled as an expedition vehicle by Twiga.
Exterior: Used fire engine, cabin and living unit freshly sprayed in a great colour to look like new. Our renowned aluminium frame speaks for itself, and the 60 mm insulation panels ensure optimum comfort.
Our own 4-point suspended subframe can naturally be found below this living unit. And let’s not forget that we have also technically modified this vehicle entirely to become a touring vehicle.
Interior: A spacious seating area at the back of the living unit with a fold-down bed above. There is a wet room at the front of the living unit with a shower and toilet. Between the seating area and the wet room there is a fully equipped kitchen and a large 130-litre fridge freezer.
There is a lithium battery system (24 V – 400 Ah) below the seating area, 3x 300 W solar panels on the roof, a ring heater with convection warming, a 24-litre electric boiler and a dry toilet.
On the outside there is a holder for 2 tyres and our innovative pull-out steps.
